Education and Technology

Today i don't think we have a choice but to embrace and learn how our technology works, my daughter is 6 yrs old and goes on club penguin, she has pets on line and knows how to log in and type her log in name and password. We keep things simple for her but she has a favorite list on the computer with all her favorite sites she like to visit and watch video's. She has an MP3 player and plugs it into her stereo and plays the music on speakers in her room. It amazes me the things she is capable of doing when it comes to this stuff, we only show her once or twice and then she does it all on her own. If she could spell more words I'm sure she would be doing alot more. This is just an example of where our children are in this tech world are going and can you imagine the possibilities of what they're going to be able to accomplish as young adults.

Great to see you are blogging. I like your personal stories and anecdotes.

As we work through the second half of the course I would like to see you blog more often and reflect deeper.

Probably twice a week I would like to see you look around you and notice how technology has changed the way we live and learn. How has your story changed in the last ten years? How will it change in the next ten? Has the impact of technology been positive or negative?

Keep blogging!

I am trying, this whole blogging thing..It was new to me and took time to get used to doing I was really lost on how to get back in once i signed up. I thought i lost it all and then i went over the instructions once again I found it...Horrahy!
I try to look around the other blog's not from class...just general blogs to get a better grasp on it and what it's about.
I am also getting a better grasp on schooling in the non-traditional way, I didn't understand what was expected of me untill i seen the other presentations and realized "what was i thinking" It's over now ...can't change it just have to learn from it....lol
Until next class
